Custom cards have a matte finish that you can easily write on with pencil or ball-point pen. The pencil and the ball-point pen will erase with an ordinary pencil eraser. However, using a pencil with a gum eraser will help your cards last a long time. If you use a permanent marker you will need alcohol to erase.
